Relativity Studios, one of the largest and last remaining privately-held Hollywood film and television studios, has produced, distributed or structured financing for more than 200 motion pictures, generating more than $17 billion in worldwide box-office revenue and earning 60 Oscar nominations. Relativity’s films include Oculus, Safe Haven, Act of Valor, Immortals, Limitless, and The Fighter.
Dana Brunetti recently joined the Company as President of Relativity Studios. In this capacity, Mr. Brunetti has full responsibility for the management of Relativity’s film and television content. Mr. Brunetti’s track record of producing high caliber, moderately-budgeted films that consistently perform with U.S. and international audiences (e.g. Fifty Shades of Grey, The Social Network, Captain Phillips) is a perfect fit for Relativity’s culture and system.
The film studio follows an innovative and differentiated business model that seeks to mitigate the hit-or-miss nature of film investing. Relativity is the only studio to have contractual guarantees and other risk mitigation measures that together cover 70% to 100% of production budgets on every film.
The Company also benefits from long-standing and industry-leading domestic and international film distribution agreements, as well as strategic partnerships in key international growth markets, including long-term output deals with Fox, Netflix and international partners spanning 140+ countries and wholly-owned distribution company in China, and joint venture in India.
Relativity Studios is capable of sourcing, financing, producing and distributing approximately 15 – 20 films theatrically and up to 30 films on television and digital media per year.
